Japanese town uses "Monster Wolf" robots to deter bears

A Japanese town has deployed a fearsome roboto to scare off bears that have become an increasingly dangerous nuisance in the countryside. Raw video shows the red-eyed machine, dubbed "Monster Wolf," using an infrared sensor that can detect bears or other moving animals nearby.
