Highlights! ‘Italian Stallion’ Scores Massive TKO At UFC Fight Island 4
Promising Italian prospect Luigi Vendramini returned to the Octagon in devastating fashion earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 3, 2020) at UFC Fight Island 4 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside Flash Forum on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., when he toppled veteran Jessin Ayari via first-round TKO (head kick and punches).
It didn’t take long for the two lightweights to start slinging heavy leather on the feet. After all, each guy waited nearly two years to return to the Octagon. Through all the chaos it was Vendramini who landed the first meaningful shot and connected with a clean left hook. “Italian Stallion” followed his efforts up with a flurry of punches along the cage before launching a perfect head kick that caught Ayari on the neck. Ayari fell to the canvas and Vendramini jumped on top for the finish.

With this performance, Vendramini locks down his first UFC victory after losing his debut to welterweight finisher Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos two years ago. Now at lightweight, Vendramini looks primed to make a real run in one of the promotion’s most stacked divisions.
To think, Vendramini is more known for his submission skills rather than his hands. The kid looked good.
