McGregor Goes From PPV Champ To PPE Legend
Hospitals in Ireland are getting truckloads of much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) thanks to none other than Conor McGregor.
Back at the end of March, the Irish UFC star made a pledge to donate €1 million ($1.09 million US) worth of medical supplies to hospitals across the republic, and now on Easter he’s sharing images of the gear rolling in.

McGregor has been an outspoken supporter of Ireland’s effort to stay home and flatten the curve, keeping the country’s hospitals from being overwhelmed by patients suffering from Coronavirus. While he’s spent the last couple of days arguing with the Stena Line ferry Twitter account for operating during the pandemic, this is a nice reminder that he is staying put and putting his money where his mouth is.
