It’s safe to say Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury are ready to settle their unfinished business.

After their first fight ended in a majority draw, the two top ranked heavyweights will clash for a second time this weekend but Wilder and Fury nearly decided to start the festivities a couple of days early.

At the pre-fight press conference on Wednesday, Wilder and Fury came face-to-face before sitting down to answer questions and the trash talk got heated immediately.

With taunts and verbal jabs being thrown, Fury began pushing forward on Wilder, which got the reigning WBC champion to react by pushing “The Gypsy King” away from him. Fury then returned fire by shoving Wilder as security rushed into get between the heavyweights before a fiery face off resulted in punches being thrown.

Odds makers have Wilder and Fury almost even going into the fight, which speaks to the back-and-forth battle that resulted the first time around. While Fury was able to control the range and pepper Wilder with punches from the outside, he nearly had his lights put out during two different knockdowns.

The second came in the 12th round when Wilder blasted Fury with a massive punch that flattened him down to the canvas. Somehow Fury survived and made it to the final bell, which ultimately led to the majority decision.

Now they meet again with Wilder seeking his 42nd career knockout in 43 victories while Fury seeks another championship to add to his already impressive resume.
