Coker Ready To Talk Bellator MMA With Logan Paul!
Logan Paul’s next step in his combat career may include a stopover in Bellator MMA.
Paul, one of the biggest YouTube stars on the planet, has quickly become one of the bigger draws in combat sports, due mostly to his massive social media following. This past November, the 24-year-old sensation stepped inside of the boxing ring for his professional debut when he took on KSI in a highly-anticipated rematch. Paul did not come out on top, losing via split decision, but his ability to draw the masses was on full display.
With the Paul vs. KSI rivalry in the books, fight fans are wondering what is next for the YouTube star. Some believe the former high school athlete will test the waters in mixed martial arts (MMA) and see if he can utilize his star power on that platform as well, but where would Paul fit in?
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White has already closed the door on Paul ever stepping inside of the Octagon, despite the potential to make a Paul vs. CM Punk superfight, so the social media standout must look elsewhere for an opportunity.
In steps Bellator MMA president Scott Coker, who understands the ins and out of fight promotion more than most. After Paul was seen in a recent interview with Irish Mirror reporter Donagh Corby expressing his interest to compete under the Bellator banner, Coker responded with an invite to meet up this weekend during Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Fla., to discuss a potential partnership.
If you’re in Miami for @SuperBowl, let me know. #SBLIV @LoganPaul https://t.co/xjUUtRfwcu

“If you’re in Miami for Super Bowl, let me know,” wrote Coker in a Twitter message directed at Paul.
It may not seem like a big deal, but this tweet essentially gets Paul one step closer to a career in MMA. If he’s willing to meet up with Coker this weekend in Miami maybe the two can strike a deal and Paul gets signed for a debut later in 2020.
Whether or not Paul can deliver inside of the cage has yet to be seen, but he has carved out a significant following wherever he goes so now may be the right time for Bellator to strike while the iron is hot.
What say you, Maniacs? Would Paul be a good fit for Bellator?
Let’s hear it!
